Copper has been a natural remedy for thousands of years. Many people store water in copper vessels to stop the growth of bacteria, fungi, and viruses. Copper is powerful because harmful bacteria cannot live on a copper surface for more than four hours. When water is stored in a copper vessel for at least eight hours, it fuses its healing nature with the water and shares this with your body when you drink it. The vessel also helps alkaline water and restore its structure. You can get similar benefits from silver, but real silver bottles and cups can get pretty expensive. Copper is just as good, and it is more affordable.
Copper Has a Host of Benefits
Copper helps your body create red blood cells, which keeps your immune system healthy. It assists in creating collagen as well, which is needed for healthy skin and tissue regeneration, gum health, and other things. This metal is warming like gold, so a copper water bottle would be great for people who have a cooler constitution like me. It can also help with cold issues of the body.
Drinking out of a copper vessel is said to promote the following:
- healthy blood circulation
- reverse liver disease
- decrease the acidity in your body
- prevent and treat heart disease
- eliminate pimples & acne
- healing stomach disorders
- strengthen the uterus
- relieve gall bladder issues
- healing of certain cancers
- relieve joint pains
- healing of eye diseases
- alleviate bladder issues
Some natural health practitioners believe that all diseases can be cured by drinking copper-infused water.
I can say it really has relieved minor pain and discomfort with my menstrual cycle. When I drink copper-infused water regularly, my periods are pain-free and always regular.
There are a few ways to get more copper in your life, such as including more copper-rich foods. (If you eat liver, you don’t need to drink copper-infused water.) You can drink out of a vessel, but you can also buy copper bars that are cheap. Drop them in a glass pitcher filled with water. You can also use copper cookware, and healthy amounts of copper will leach into your food, which will also promote healing. Though you must be careful. Unlined copper cookware could be dangerous if you cook acidic foods in it.
I must say that only a small amount of copper is needed. And if you have certain imbalances, copper could actually exasperate the issue. So be sure to talk to your integrative practitioner before you incorporate this practice into your life.

Thank you sooooooo much for your blog posts!!! I too believe int he usage of crystals and gems. YAHUAH (Father God) placed those things there like the herbs that have specific colors and such. I believe that! And YES it does get a bad rap because of the usage for other deites. But I always to my Father in heaven thank you and I feel such abundance knowing that this too (crystals) are also *HIS* creation for us to use too!! Not many Christians would understand so I simply don't mention it. My son has been collecting them since he was a small elementary school boy. I feel bad because I made him through some of them away when he got older. But he is now building them up once again–happily. He's 20 now. And I am collecting them with him and learning about them. The healing usage of crystals was stolen from us by satan himself… and I believe that there are certain forms of information HE is returning back to us— true believers!!
Amein!!

Hi,
I'm so happy that you understand. I always loved stones, but they have a deeper meaning now. I did not know that they actually assist in physical healing. It is so fascinating to me, but then I think, well, why wouldn't they heal. God is a healing God, and these stones are his creation. My fascination with colors and stones has allowed me to connect a few more dots, and I am constantly evolving in Christ. My stone and precious metal collection is becoming larger too!
